DHP PRESENTS:
JAKUZI
Jakuzi is an Istanbul-based synth-pop band known for blending darkwave, post-punk, and
new wave influences with Turkish lyrics. Founded in 2015 by Kutay Soyocak , the band quickly
gained aKenLon with their debut album, Fantezi Müzik (2017), which was later re-released
by Berlin-based label City Slang. Their melancholic yet danceable sound, inspired by arLsts
like John Maus, The Human League, and Depeche Mode, has resonated with audiences both
in Turkey and internaLonally.
Their second album, Hata Payı (2019), further solidified their reputaLon with a darker and
more introspecLve sound. The band’s latest album, Madalyon I (2024), conLnues their
evoluLon, exploring themes of idenLty, transformaLon, and emoLonal struggle with a
refined, cinemaLc producLon style.
Jakuzi has toured extensively across Europe, performing at major fesLvals and venues, and
has built a loyal fanbase through their disLncLve aestheLcs, emoLonal depth, and dynamic
live performances.
